Friends of the Library Meeting

Friends of the Library board and committee members generally meet once a month to conduct business. If you are interested in becoming a Friend, membership applications and brochures are available at your local branch.

Hollywood Event
Wednesday, April 10 from 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM

Join us on the red carpet for a star-studded event full of Hollywood glitz and glam! Join us for storytime and crafts. Checkout 15 items to receive an incentive and enter a drawing for an awesome prize!

Family Paint Event
Wednesday, April 17 from 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM

Join in the fun with this step-by-step painting class where you will leave with a masterpiece of your own.

Yoga (18+)
Mondays at 2:00 PM

Join our yoga class to relax and unwind. Learn postures, meditation, and breathing techniques to build strength.

Little Artists
Tuesdays at 11:30 AM

This craft program is designed for little ones who are learning to improve their fine motor skills in a creative way.

Storytime
Wednesdays at 12:30 PM

This engaging storytime includes stories, songs, rhymes, and more.

Craft Corner
Wednesdays at 3:00 PM

This craft program is designed for children between the ages of 6 and 11 who enjoy creating crafts (many of which follow a season, holiday, or special unique theme).

Tiny Hoppers
Thursdays at 12:30 PM

These are early learning programs that introduce literacy to our youngest library visitors, which include songs, concept storybooks (i.e., shapes, colors, etc.), and lots of movement! These programs range from 30-60 minutes and are designed for highly active children.

Tails and Stories
Mondays, April 22 and May 20 at 4:00 PM

Join us for this wonderful program where you can practice your reading skills on nonjudgmental listeners: dogs! Therapy dogs come into our library to listen to you read, and they love hearing stories.

Friends of the Library Book Sale
Saturday, May 25 during Library Open Hours

All funds raised by the Friends of the Library Book Sale are invested back into the local branch library to better serve the community.
